In short: documents are handled on your computer and are not sent anywhere. To improve the program, downloads, site visits, and the number of running copies are counted, without identifying you. Cookies are used only with your consent. Below is what, when, and why.

The Construct PDF program

Documents	They are opened, edited, recognized, signed, and saved on the computer. Document contents are not sent to the internet.
Text recognition	With Windows’ own tools or the recognition engine included with the program — on the computer, offline.
Electronic signature	Certificates and the PIN stay in CryptoPro CSP on the computer. The program does not save them or pass them on.
Update check	Once a day the program asks constructpdf.ru for the latest version number. The request includes the program version, interface language, and Windows version — that is how the number of running copies and the versions in use are counted. The request contains nothing about your documents; the IP address is not stored for the count. Turn it off under Settings → About → Check for updates at startup.
Error report	It is sent only when you press “Report an error” (or “Send report” after a crash). The report includes whatever is ticked in the window: a description, an email for the reply (optional), the activity log, and a picture of the program window. The document itself is included only if you tick that box (off by default). Without internet the report is saved as a folder on the desktop — you can read it and not send it.
Activity log	The file “Журнал.log” in the settings folder on your computer: program and Windows version, 32 or 64-bit, language, and error messages — no document contents, up to 1 MB. It leaves the computer only as part of a report, if you include it.
What it does not do	No advertising, no accounts, no sign-up, and no tracking of what you do with documents.

The site constructpdf.ru

Visit statistics	Anonymous, and without cookies: which pages are opened, where visits come from (search or a link), country, device and browser, and clicks on Download. Counted by Umami on our server in Russia. The IP address is not stored, and individual visitors are not tracked.
Download counter	Downloads per day: which version, installer or archive, and which page the click came from. The IP address is not stored in the counter.
Yandex Metrika	Only with your consent (the banner at the bottom of the page on the first visit). Metrika uses cookies to tell return visits apart, build click maps, and record what happens on the page (WebVisor) — so it is clear what on the site works and what does not. Yandex LLC processes the data on servers in Russia under its privacy policy. Metrika is not loaded on the online editor page.
Online PDF	Files are processed in the browser on your computer and are not uploaded. Only the fact of an action is counted (“merged”, “split”) — not the files, their names, or their contents.
Yandex Webmaster	Used to see which search queries find the site. It does not receive visitor data.
Advertising and third-party services	There is no advertising. There are no other third-party scripts besides Metrika after you consent. Google Analytics and similar services abroad are not used.
Server logs	The server, like any web server, records technical details of requests: IP address, time, page address, and browser name. They are needed to run and protect the site, are kept for up to 30 days, and are not passed to third parties.

Project support

Voluntary support is paid on the YuMoney website. The site sends YuMoney only the amount and payment purpose; card details are entered on YuMoney’s side. Support unlocks no features — the program stays the same for everyone.

Which cookies	Only Yandex Metrika cookies (the names start with `_ym`) and only after you press Accept. The site itself does not set cookies; your choice is remembered in the browser for 12 months.
How to change your choice	The “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you decline, Metrika cookies are deleted and only the cookie-free statistics remain.
No statistics at all	You can turn on tracking protection or a blocker in the browser. The site and the program still work without limits.

What happens to error reports

Reports are used only to find and fix the error and, if you left an email, to reply. They are not passed to third parties and are not used for mailings. A report is deleted after the error is fixed, or sooner if you ask. Statistics (downloads, visits, running copies) are used only in aggregate, to decide how the program should grow.
